The local campaign group 'My Death, My Decision' has been adding weight to the ground swell of public support for the Assisted Dying Bill.
The bill, brought forward by MHK Dr Alex Allinson will receive its second reading in October, after falling short on previous attempts in other administrations.
Former Garff MHK Martin Perkins is a member of the campaign group, he said he's hopeful we've progressed in attitude since it was last knocked back.
He outlined the common grievances that had let to it not progressing previously, and why they shouldn't be a consideration anymore:
