A former hotel owner has announced his intention to stand in this year's General Election.
Michael Leather - will contest for a seat in Onchan alongside the constituency's current MHks - Julie Edge and Rob Callister.
Mr Leather says his priorities would be to create a thriving tourism sector - specifically by extending part of Loch promenade, this would include an underground car park and shopping area.
This year's general election gets underway on Thursday, September 23.
