
A former Douglas gymnastics coach is back behind bars after his sentence was increased at appeal.
Harold Volante was convicted of four counts of indecent assault on young girls.
He was initially given a 12 month prison sentence suspended for 2 years.
However, that’s now been increased to 9 months in custody after an appeal by the attorney general, who felt the initial punishment was too lenient.
