A former Onchan commissioner is calling for the local authority to open up about why it's sacked its clerk.
David Quirk, who was also the town's MHK until last year, says he's shocked the board has parted ways with Michael Morrison but won't say why.
Mr Quirk has accused the commissioners of wasting ratepayers' money on legal fees after they held a meeting at an advocate's office.
And he says the situation now needs resolving:
New amber warning issued for tonight's storm
Police appeal over theft of building materials
One of capital's oldest buildings may become housing
New NHS safety rule to be brought in on Island
Two city streets to shut for over six months
Revamp of airport terminal planned, says DOI
