A former Onchan commissioner is calling for the local authority to open up about why it's sacked its clerk.
David Quirk, who was also the town's MHK until last year, says he's shocked the board has parted ways with Michael Morrison but won't say why.
Mr Quirk has accused the commissioners of wasting ratepayers' money on legal fees after they held a meeting at an advocate's office.
And he says the situation now needs resolving:
