Order For More Stock To Be Made Soon
The Manx public are being reassured that there are just
enough supplies of flu vaccine still in stock to meet demand, with another
order soon to be made.
The news comes as areas in the UK are struggling to meet
demand with stocks in Europe needing to be brought in to help bolster their
supplies.
School Children have been receiving the vaccine on the
Island this week with the message still the same to anyone in the vulnerable
groups to get their injection as soon as possible.
So far there have been around 50 deaths around the UK
attributed to Swine Flu.
In an effort to conserve stocks until the next delivery Public Health are asking the public to only request a vaccination shot if you fall into the at-risk groups.
