Onchan MHK Rob Callister says the increase in first-time and international visitors for this year's TT is a good sign for the long-term growth of the festival.
Over 16,000 new faces attended the 2018 event, the highest since those records began in 2010.
Meanwhile, the number of non-UK visitors was over 9,000, a rise of almost 50 per cent.
There was a slight decrease in the overall amount of people attending this year of 1.5 per cent
