The first person on the Island to be charged under new domestic abuse laws has been remanded in custody.
Charlotte Rebecca Dougherty of Ballachrink Drive in Onchan appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 41 year old denies assault and domestic abuse in January.
There was no bail application and she was remanded to the Isle of Man Prison until the start of her trial on June 28.
