The first ever visitors centre for marine animals on the Isle of Man is to open next week.
The Manx Whale and Dolphin Visitor's Centre, on Michael Street in Peel, will hold its official opening on Saturday, January 26 from 10am.
Following that it will open most days from 10am to 4pm, providing information about the variety of species of dolphins, whales and porpoises found in Manx waters.
The building will also become home to the Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch charity, which was founded in 2006.
