Emergency services were called to an incident in the south of the Island yesterday afternoon.
At 3.30pm Douglas and Castletown fire crews responded to reports of a fire at the Freeport in Ballasalla.
The incident started with a fire in a processing plant, but had been put out before firefighters arrived.
As there was a high risk of the fire restarting because of chemical reactions, crews stayed at the scene for two hours to make sure the area was safe.
