The Island's Fire and Rescue Service has issued more advice about wildfires in the countryside.
On Facebook, firefighters say a long spell of hot dry weather means the dangers are still high, with no rain expected until the weekend.
They say if you spot a fire, you should immediately get to safety and dial 999 - and you can use the Ordnance Survey app or what3words to give an accurate location.
But they add you should never try to tackle a fire yourself or travel to a wildfire as it can hinder the response from the emergency services.
