Firefighters were called out earlier today to reports of a structure fire in Kirk Michael.
When crews arrived they found two people - who lived at the property - were accounted for.
Breathing Apparatus teams entered the smoke logged building and were able to extinguish the flames.
It took teams around two hours to ventilate the property - firefighters are urging people to make sure their smoke alarms work.
