The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue service were called to reports of a fire in Onchan yesterday.
Crews arrived at 8.00pm on Monday, February 16 to a house on Church Avenue in Onchan.
On arrival, firefighters found the blaze contained to a bedroom and all occupants had safely evacuated the property.
The service says to check smoke alarms weekly, keep candles away from flammable materials and make sure they're fully extinguished before leaving the room.
