Emergency Services were called out to a property fire in Douglas on Monday night.
At 11.15pm, crews from Douglas were called to reports of a fire alarm sounding in Castle Street.
When crews arrived at the scene, the officer in charge discovered smoke issuing from the front of a property.
Officers forced entry to the property and two firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus and using thermal imaging equipment, located and extinguished the blaze using a high pressure hosereel.
Thanks to the early warning from the automatic fire alarm system the fire was able to be located and brought under control quickly.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
