The fire service is recommending that homeowners check their drains following a number of floods.
Crews from Douglas and Ramsey have been dealing with a number of incidents as a result of the heavy rain overnight and this morning.
They say there’s been substantial damage to properties and vehicles due to flooding.
As a precaution it’s suggested you check that drains are not blocked with leaves and other debris.
The public is also urged not to drive through flooded areas or enter flood waters.
