The Island's Fire Service attended nine separate incidents on Monday.
Crews are urging those enjoying the countryside to take care and reduce the risk of fire, as over half the calls attended were small outdoor fires.
Each of these small incidents has the potential to tie up resources and prevent crews from attending more life threatening situations.
The public is also reminded to make sure than campfires or barbecues are fully extinguished.
