 
                            The Fire Safety Team has issued a number of guidelines for households to adhere to in an effort to reduce the risk of house fires during the festive season.
It’s a time of year that traditionally sees a peak in incidents, with faulty lights and candle flames often a cause.
The public are yet again urged to ensure their fire alarms are in working order, with a weekly test advised.
