Fire crews were called to a house in Kirk Michael yesterday after a fire broke out in a boiler room.
Firefighters attended Cammall Farm shortly after 10am after reports of a blaze.
The fire was confined to one room and crews spent around three hours putting out the flames and damping down the property.
The boiler room door was closed - which prevented the fire spreading further.
