Fire and Rescue teams were on hand to deal with an incident at a property in Ramsey on Monday morning.
Just before 10.30am Ramsey and Douglas crews went to the scene on College Street to reports of smoke coming from the building.
They found the cause to be an overheated component on the main electrical intake.
Firefighters isolated the supply to it - electricians then arrived on scene to make the situation safe.
