Fire crews and a helicopter rescued an injured a mountain biker from the Brandywell area last night.
At around 8PM the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service responded with one of their 6 wheeled drive vehicles to the Sartfell area. (Similar to the one pictured)
An RAF search and rescue helicopter was then called in to ensure the casualty was maintained in a stable position.
The casualty was seriously injured. It's understood they suffered head and spinal injuries although the condition this morning is not known.
