Fire crews in the West of the Island attended to domestic flooding yesterday afternoon.
Peel Fire Service were called to Foxdale, working together with the Department for Infrastructure to stem the flow of water and protect homes in the area.
The cause of the flooding was a blocked culvert nearby, which has now been cleared.
The Fire Service thanked members of the public via social media for their patience while traffic control measures were in place, and issued a reminder for residents to clear drains and gulleys to prevent issues as a result of the changing weather conditions.
