A protected bird of prey is being nursed back to health after being found collapsed by the side of the road in Jurby.
The peregrine falcon was rescued by members of the public and taken to Manx Wild Bird aid who said it had been unwell for some time.
It has now received veterinary care for an infected beak and is being tube-fed in the hope it can eventually be returned to the wild.
