A Sulby teenager who let off a firework on Bonfire Night has been hit with a £350 fine.
18-year-old Thomas Richards, who's from Ballabrooie, discharged the explosive in Parliament Street in Ramsey last year.
At Douglas Courthouse last week he admitted his actions had caused harassment or alarm.
Richards was seen fixing the firework to a wall in a side street by the Plough Hotel at 10.30pm - he then lit the fuse and let it fire into the street in front of two women.
As well as the fine Magistrates ordered him to pay £50 in costs.
