Douglas could be getting a new Filipino takeaway - if planners approve a planning application.
Roxanne Banlawi of Kusinero Classics has applied to convert a former shop on Bucks Road into a hot food outlet.
She says she's hoping to serve Asian Filipino cuisine from the unit, and says the family business would employ five people.
The takeaway would serve home-cooked food based on Filipino market stalls called turo-turo.
