Figures of Pupils and Teachers Absent Remain High
Figures of children absent from schools remain relatively unchanged, with 372 pupils currently absent today.
44 Teachers are off, and 34 support staff, the high levels are down to the three viruses doing the rounds, the common cold, Norovirus and of course swine flu.
It’s been said previously that School’s would only close in
the event that staff numbers dropped below acceptable levels.
