Fewer than one in six of the Island's population consider themselves to be solely Manx, according to a new report.
The results of the government's social attitudes survey for 2025 have been published on its website.
It shows of those questioned, just under 36 per cent said they had Manx ancestry.
But when asked if they were solely Manx in origin, only just over 16 per cent said yes.
