The percentage of Island pupils who received GCSE grades higher than a C has dropped.
The figures were released by the Department of Education and Children earlier this week.
All GCSE entries graded A star to C made up a total of 68.8 per cent - lower than it has been in the past two years.
School Improvement Advisor Joel Smith explains what may have caused the drop:
High ground could see 4 inches of snow on Saturday night
Mountain Road unlikely to open before Monday
Yellow warning for freezing temperatures tonight
School bangers night called off
