Festive 'five pointer' for Christmas party-goers

Revellers are being urged to enjoy and respect the festive period whilst on licenced premises.

The Licensed Victuallers Association - which represents the majority of the Island's pubs and hotels - has issued a 'festive five-pointer' to get through the coming celebrations.

It supports the message the emergency services are pushing with the 'drink safe, drive safe, go safe' campaign.

Chairman Andy Saunders says whilst he wants people to enjoy themselves they want to draw attention to the risks involved with over consumption and unsafe drinking practices:
