Ramsey Commissioners are asking the public for help in setting new laws to control dogs in the town.
Current byelaws are up for renewal in March - the commissioners want to measure public opinion to see if any changes need to be made.
At the moment dogs are prohibited from being 'at large' in open spaces and on beaches - this includes Mooragh and Coronation parks, rugby pitches, BMX tracks, all school grounds and the area of beach between south breakwater and the lifeboat slipway.
