Police are appealing for information after a collision near Port St Mary.
At around 10:20 last Wednesday night a taxi was overtaken by a vehicle which was travelling at a high speed.
The taxi was forced to swerve out of the way and hit a stone wall.
The collision happened on the Castletown Road.
Anybody who saw what happened is asked to contact the police.
