Close Leece Farm Shop and Cafe has announced its closing its doors for the final time next month.
In a post on social media, the company says:
”We are very sad to announce that Close Leece Farm Shop and Cafe will close its doors for the final time on Sunday, September 4th. Unfortunately, Covid came at a very bad time for the business, and a combination of spiralling costs and changing customer habits mean it is time for us to end the journey.
Until September 4th, the business will be open as usual for Wednesday – Sunday lunches and afternoon teas, as well as breakfasts on Saturdays and Sundays.
It’s always open for breakfast and lunch on Bank Holiday Monday, August 29th.
Its products will remain available with our great Island retailers until mid-September.
The farm shop & cafe has thanked customers DEFA and it’s staff.
The announcement has been met with hundreds of comments of support.
