Firefighters came to the rescue after a pony fell into a ditch in West Baldwin earlier today.
Crews were called to a farm in the area at 11.40am this morning to bring the animal back to safety.
Under guidance from a vet and the owner, teams then excavated a nearby pathway so they could put a combination of strops, ropes and pulleys in place to lift the the pony, called Sophie, out.
The fire service then says after a quick check over, Sophie was then led to a nearby field to continue her recovery, none the worse for her ordeal.
