Figures Down by Nearly 4000 Passengers on 2009
The total harbour traffic figures have been released with an overall fall in passenger figures recorded.
Passenger figures dropped from just over 98,000 to 94,390 – that’s nearly a 4 percent decline.
There was a 2 percent increase in vehicles taken however; June is traditionally a very busy month for the Steam Packet with the TT festival.
The Dublin and Liverpool routes have seen a marked increase, with a drop in the Heysham service.
It’s anticipated however that passenger traffic figures will remain healthy throughout the Summer months.
