Police say they'll be carrying out extra patrols in the north east of the Island while the Mountain Road remains closed.
Officers say they'll also be upping speed enforcement while the route is shut to make sure people are driving sensibly.
The Mountain Road is closed between the Creg-ny-Baa Back Road and Barrule Park in Ramsey until April 23rd.
It's while the Department of Infrastructure resurfaces the road ready for TT.
