The Island’s first ever female Commonwealth gymnastics team has had a debut to remember in Glasgow.
Grace Harrison, Kaitlin Kneen, Nicole Burns and Tara Donnelly excelled during their floor and beam events in the artistic women’s team final and individual qualifiers.
It's helped push the Isle of Man up to 5th place with a score of 139.480 and means the girls sit ahead of India, Sri Lanka and Malta on the overall leader board.
Each of the girls are now currently ranked inside the top 15 in the individual qualification table with 2013 Island Games Champion Harrison sitting in 9th place.
Team Isle of Man Captain Alex Hedges, Anand Patel, Mukunda Measuria and Harshul Measuria will hope for similar success when they return to action in the men’s event later this evening.
