Stevie-Lea Evans has been given notice to quit her Pulrose home following the death of her dad last year.

Douglas Borough Council have said that she should move out by the end of this month, as that is their policy, despite recently giving birth to a baby who has been fighting for her life since she was born.

The 19 year old will find out today if she is allowed to stay in her family home.

Douglas Council will hold a meeting later to make a decision on the young mums future.

Since the eviction notice was given thousands of local people have showed support on Facebook and by signing petitions.
