Event to ask questions about medicinal cannabis next month

A free event for people to come and learn more about medicinal cannabis will be held next month.

Douglas-based clinic Medicann will be holding a question and answer session with doctors from 6pm on Wednesday, September 3 at the Claremont Hotel in Douglas.

People can confidentially ask questions about whether they’re eligible for medical cannabis and learn about the different types of medication.

Chief Executive Gary Whipp says one patient transformed their life with treatment - a man who suffered over 200 seizures per year, with Medicann telling his story in a Netflix film:
