Alterations at Ronaldsway airport are estimated to cost just under £670,000.
That's according to figures from Infrastructure Minister, Ray Harmer, in written response to a query from Speaker, Juan Watterson, in Tynwald this week.
They include the estimated costs of building works; security technology; additional staffing; boarding scanner and the operation and maintenance of it.
Mr Harmer added the figures are approximate as not all of the invoices for the relevant equipment have been received yet.
The airport has been undergoing refurbishment to it's central search area, which the minister also said is nearing completion.
