Mechanical problems on the Manannan means that sailings to and from Liverpool will be a bit longer over the next few weeks.
One of the engines was damaged yesterday. Essential repair work needs to get underway.
The Steam Packet Company say rather then withdraw the service they will carry out repair works while it's sailing.
It's expected to take about 3 weeks so until then crossings will take about half an hour longer due to the vessel running on 3 out of 4 engines.
