The Department of Infrastructure has given a ray of hope to motorists stuck in heavy traffic in Ramsey.
Temporary traffic lights near Ramsey Bakery should be removed by the end of the day, according to the department.
The traffic controls had led to long delays to journeys, with police issuing a statement earlier this week.
The DOI says the lights should be gone this afternoon.
