Emergency Services Urge People to Put Safety First This Bonfire Night
Tomorrow is of course Bonfire Night, and as usual both the Police and the Fire Service are issuing timely reminders to put safety first.
The over-riding message from both of the emergency services is to attend organised events tomorrow night and not to handle the fire works unless you’re in a controlled environment and fully understand what you’re doing.
The police will have an high level of officers out on patrol and anybody caught setting off fireworks dangerously will face prosecution
Pet owner are also reminded to keep their animals in doors throughout the nights festivities.
