An emergency road closure is currently in place in the North due to a road traffic collision.
Ballaugh Bridge with its junction to the Orrisdale Loop Road is shut to traffic and pedestrians until 6pm tonight, or until the road is cleared.
Police said traffic from the North heading West at this time will be diverted via Ballaugh Cronk to Kirk Michael.
Any traffic heading North from Kirk Michael will unfortunately be turned around until the scene is cleared.
As the Mountain Road between the Bungalow and Creg Ny Baa is also closed at this time may we respectfully request that the Coast Road is used until Isle of Man Department of Infrastructure can update further (expected around 4.30pm).
The Creg Ny Baa is accessible from Douglas via Cronk Ny Mona and the Creg back Road. Snaefell Summitt Cafe and Victory Cafe are accessible from Ramsey and Sulby (via Tholt Y Will Road).
