Emergency mental health service gets 2,000 calls a month

The health minister says the emergency mental health service gets around 2,000 calls a month.

Claire Christian gave figures in response to a Tynwald question for written reply from Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher.

She also said the Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team received 1,906 referrals over the past year.

Out of this number, eight percent ended with an admission to the inpatient unit at Manannan Court.
