The session - being chaired by the new Captain of Lonan Parish, Stephen Carter - will be attended by local authority representatives along with officials from government agencies and departments.
The major incident last Tuesday (October 1) had catastrophic effects seeing the town cut off, people trapped in their homes and 150 properties left without power.
Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, announced in Tynwald this week an independent review will take place to look into the matter.
Tonight's meeting will take place at Laxey Pavilion from 7pm.
