The electronic red flag system will be tested this week ahead of the Manx Grand Prix.
They were introduced by the government this year for the TT races, and are used in addition to the existing marshal's red flag system.
Organisers will retest the system between 7-8am on Friday August 19, two days before the start of the next races.
