Fire crews were called out to Douglas yesterday after a blaze broke out in a nursing home.
Just before lunchtime, firefighters were called to a fire at Springfield Grange on Stevenson Way in Farmhill.
All those inside evacuated safely before the emergency services arrived.
Firefighters say the fire started because of an electrical failure.
