Spokesperson Says More Routes Will Come
Manx skies will be turning Orange later as Budget Airline Easyjet starts flying to the Island today.
The budget airline will be flying to and from Liverpool 6 times a week.
The announcement of a route to Liverpool was met by great fanfare on the Island, the airline is known for its competitive prices and large planes with capacity to take over 150 passengers.
There are firm plans in place to expand the number of routes in time.
Paul Simmons is the UK Regional General Manager at Easyjet, he says the will gauge the initial response to the single Liverpool route, and in the not too distant future decide upon a secondary service.
