The Eastern Civic Amenity Site will reopen tomorrow morning from 8am.
Douglas Borough Council has confirmed the site will be open between 8am - 6pm on Monday to Saturdays and 8am - 4pm on Sundays.
Restrictions will be in place regarding the number of vehicles allowed on site at any time and the existing height barrier restriction will be for large vans and trailers.
Initially, only general household, green garden waste and scrap metal will be accepted.
Also, there won't be a facility for recycling or for disposing of fridges, freezers, TV’s, monitors and the re-use area will remain closed.
The council is also asking all those visiting the site to be patient should queues build up as these are extraordinary times that require extraordinary measures.
