The Eastern Civic Amenity Site is currently closed as all the skips are full.
Douglas Borough Council says there's been a technical fault with the compaction digger, meaning nothing else can fit in the skips.
The site will reopen as soon as it can take more material.
The Council apologises for any inconvenience.
