A pair of ducklings were saved yesterday thanks to a local charity and the Manx public.
The Manx Wild Bird Aid was contacted by someone who spotted the two tiny ducklings near the waterfall on the Silverburn River.
They were trying to swim upstream with no mum or siblings in sight.
While one duckling was scooped up by another member of public who happened to be nearby, the second one quickly disappeared out of sight.
However, after a lengthy search - one of the charity's volunteers finally found the missing duckling - they were transferred into the care of a volunteer.
