 
                            The waiting time for driving tests on the Isle of Man is shorter than the UK.
That's according to Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer who revealed the figure in the House of Keys earlier this week.
Middle MHK Bill Shimmins asked how long Island residents have to wait to complete their practical exam.
In response, Mr Harmer said the current waiting time for UK residents can take up to 10 to 12 weeks, but the average time for people on the Isle of Man is just three to five weeks.
